Overview
Amwaj Buffet on AROYA is a striking example of how thoughtful design can transform space and experience. Once a dark, utilitarian restaurant, it has been reimagined by SMC Design into a bright, contemporary venue that celebrates light, texture and flow.
Retaining much of the existing catering equipment, the team introduced light acacia woods, Carrara marble and touches of citrus tones and greenery to create a fresh, garden-like feel. Inspired by Amwaj – Arabic for “waves” – the interior flows with movement and warmth, offering guests a relaxed, cosmopolitan dining experience that mirrors the openness of the sea outside.
