Our Insight
The Prima Class represented a step-change for Norwegian Cruise Line, redefining premium contemporary free-styling cruising through elevated outdoor living, immersive entertainment and guest-centric planning.
Every space was designed to maximise the connection between guests, the sea and the destinations beyond, creating a more open, refined and experience-led environment.

The Concept
First in class introduced a new generation of cruise design centered around flexibility, wellbeing and discovery.
From expansive Ocean Boulevard experiences and sophisticated outdoor retreats to immersive attractions and destination-inspired venues, the concept balanced innovation with timeless elegance.

The experience
Guests move effortlessly between vibrant social destinations and intimate spaces to relax. Elevated infinity pools, luxurious lounge terraces, destination bars, entertainment venues and activity spaces combine to deliver a seamless journey from sunrise through to late evening, offering something memorable at every moment of the day.
A clear journey
The Prima Class was carefully planned around intuitive circulation and visual connectivity. Strong sightlines, open deck arrangements and clearly defined neighbourhoods simplify navigation while encouraging exploration, allowing guests to naturally discover dining, entertainment, wellness and recreation throughout the ship.
The Outcome
The Prima Class established a new benchmark for Norwegian Cruise Line, successfully delivering its first in class vision. The result is a sophisticated guest experience that combines premium design, operational efficiency and innovative programming, creating a distinctive ship that continues to shape the future direction of the brand.
