For Ocean Cay, SMC Design created a collection of guest environments that bring together interior design, branding and artwork across MSC Cruises’ private island destination in the Bahamas.

We wanted to create a guest experience that feels distinctive to Ocean Cay, balancing the ease of a private island retreat with the quality, identity and clarity expected of a premium cruise brand.

Relaxed. Coastal. Bohemian.

Calmer exterior environments of the spa and cabanas create quieter moments within the guest journey, bringing comfort, privacy and a sense of retreat, escape and wellness to the wider destination experience.

Dining and social spaces

From the Seakers Food Court and the Beach Hut Bar to the Gelato offering, these spaces were designed to support a more casual, sociable rhythm of island life.
