There are six restaurants onboard ASUKA III, each with its own distinct character and offering – from the elegant Four Seasons Dining Room serving all-day meals to speciality venues such as French-inspired Noblesse and the Italian restaurant Al Mare.

Four Seasons

Four Seasons is the ship’s main dining restaurant, conceived as an elegant, contemporary space designed to adapt seamlessly from day to evening dining. The interior is defined by a soft, neutral palette layered with warm timber detailing and refined upholstery, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Sculptural lighting elements flow across the ceiling, adding movement and a sense of occasion, while full-height windows frame uninterrupted sea views throughout the dining room. At the entrance, curated Japanese artwork depicting the changing seasons introduces a cultural narrative and sets the tone for a dining experience rooted in craftsmanship, balance and quiet sophistication.

Umihiko

One of the speciality restaurants on board, Umihiko is an intimate kappo-style dining space shaped by Japanese culinary ritual. Warm timber finishes, refined joinery and layered ceilings establish a calm, composed atmosphere, while shoji-inspired screens and carefully controlled lighting introduce privacy and rhythm. Traditional references are interpreted with contemporary restraint, creating a refined dining environment rooted in Japanese craftsmanship and hospitality.

Al Mare

Designed as a contemporary Italian speciality restaurant, Al Mare blends progressive design with Japanese artistry and the wider design language of ASUKA III. Sculptural pendant lighting forms the centrepiece of the space, creating an intimate, theatrical atmosphere, while illuminated waterfall artworks by Hiroshi Senju frame the architecture and add drama. Soft banquette seating, rich blue dining chairs and flowing carpet patterns introduce depth and movement, with carefully layered lighting ensuring the restaurant transitions seamlessly from day to night.

Noblesse

Noblesse is an elegant speciality dining venue defined by warmth, craftsmanship and quiet luxury. Rich timber panelling, softly upholstered banquette seating and crisp white table settings create a composed and intimate atmosphere, while full-height windows allow natural light and sea views to shape the experience from day to evening. Layered lighting, including statement chandeliers, adds rhythm and softness overhead. Artworks by Reiji Hiramatsu line the walls, introducing depth, colour and a contemporary artistic narrative that anchors the space and elevates the dining experience.

EMS Garden & Papenburg Grille

EMS Garden & Papenburg Grille is conceived as a light-filled, contemporary dining space with uninterrupted sea views. Full-height glazing runs the length of the restaurant, while a calm palette of soft neutrals and muted blues is layered with warm timber ceilings and brass-detailed furniture. Sculptural ring pendants provide rhythm and focus overhead, while curved seating and generous table spacing create a relaxed, open atmosphere suited to all-day dining.
