Seven Seas Prestige™ introduces a new approach to outdoor living at sea, combining active leisure, relaxed social spaces and refined hospitality. SMC Design was appointed to shape key outdoor environments including the Solara Sports Deck, main pool deck and Pool Grill, creating spaces that extend the character of the ship into the open air.

Designed to feel closer to a luxury resort than a traditional cruise deck, the spaces balance performance, comfort and atmosphere through considered materials, integrated landscaping, tailored lighting and carefully framed views of the sea. The result is a cohesive outdoor experience that evolves effortlessly from day to night.

Spaces: Restaurant and Public Facilities

Pool Grill Restaurant

Located alongside the main pool, Solara Pool Grill brings relaxed outdoor dining into the heart of the pool deck. The design creates an easy transition between dining, lounging and the surrounding open-air environment.

An artisanal pizzeria and relaxed dining offer guests a more informal experience yet refined each evening.

Solara Sports Deck

The Solara Sports Deck brings a new dimension to active leisure aboard Seven Seas Prestige™. Designed as Regent’s first dedicated sports deck, the space combines a competition-sized padel and pickleball court, 18-hole putting green, open-air yoga and wellness areas with spaces for social games and relaxation.

Rather than treating sport as a purely functional addition, the design integrates the activity areas into a refined outdoor environment. Timber-effect finishes, architectural framing, integrated planting and bespoke seating create a warm, residential character, while discreet lighting allows the deck to transition from daytime activity to an atmospheric setting for evening play and stargazing.

Main Pool Deck

The main pool deck is conceived as a relaxed extension of Seven Seas Prestige’s refined interiors, creating a sun-filled setting for swimming, lounging and enjoying the sea. A two-tiered sunbed arrangement frames the 48-by-29-foot pool and two whirlpool spas, maximising the available space while creating distinct areas for relaxation.

Carefully considered furnishings, materials and planting bring a sense of understated luxury to the deck, balancing the openness of the ocean with a more intimate, resort-like atmosphere.

The outcome

Seven Seas Prestige™ represents a new expression of luxury at sea, bringing together refined interiors, expansive outdoor spaces and a strong connection to the ocean. SMC Design’s contribution to the ship focuses on creating outdoor environments that feel sophisticated, relaxed and distinctly residential, from the new Solara Sports Deck to the main pool and Pool Grill.

Together, these spaces create a seamless outdoor experience that balances active leisure, wellbeing, dining and relaxation. Designed to complement the vessel's overall character, the result is a contemporary approach to life at sea that feels closer to a luxury resort than a traditional cruise ship.

Seven Seas Prestige™ will welcome guests on its inaugural sailing in December 2026.
