SMC Design was responsible for the design of all cabins and suites aboard ASUKA III, creating spaces that are comfortable, welcoming and distinctly residential in character.

ASUKA Balcony Cabin

A calm, contemporary retreat for guests that embodies the ASUKA brand ideology. Textured timbers and layers of light create a welcoming and refined ambience, while a kitchenette, walk-in wardrobe and full-size bath combine comfort with practicality.

Junior Suite

The entry-level suite encapsulates all the features found in the ASUKA balcony cabin and adds an extended lounge area where guests can enjoy the sea views, enveloped in the relaxed palette unique to this range of inspired by the Asuka period and Man'yōshū poetry.

Midship Suite AND ASUKA Suite

Designed for comfort and privacy, these suites feature clearly defined lounge, bedroom and bathroom spaces. A dedicated lounge with balcony access offers relaxed ocean views, while generously sized beds, integrated storage and a spacious bathroom creates a welcoming residential atmosphere.

Captain's Suite & Panorama Suite

The cleverly planned layout allows guests to choose between either an open-plan or more private partitioned arrangement between the bedroom and living areas if required, adding flexibility to the generous features provided by these unique suites. Whether fore or aft, these suites features a unique palette inspired by the Asuka period and Man'yōshū poetry.

Grand Suite

Generous lounge, dining and bedroom spaces are brought together through warm timber finishes, layered upholstery and subtle brass accents. Large glazing frames uninterrupted sea views, while a private balcony extends the living space and strengthens the connection to the ocean.

Royal Suite

A refined residential interior designed to maximise light, comfort and panoramic sea views. Rich timber finishes, contemporary artwork and carefully considered detailing create an elegant and inviting retreat, with generous lounge, dining and bedroom spaces arranged for effortless luxury at sea.
